Years ago I took an art class which included the story about a leading Japanese grower of morning glories.He was internationally famous.
When asked by a group of admirers to see his garden, he refused to show them until the next day.
Upon arriving the next day he ushered them to his garden, where he had cut down ALL the flowers except one, THE QUEEN OF THE GARDEN.

Honeysuckle in Greece
I have recently returned from a holiday on the Mani peninsula of Greece. A common site was a honeysuckle with large white petals and a large spray of fine purple stamens. The flowers seemed to last the morning only. Can anyone help me identify this plant?
