The Flower Expert is planning to start a series of contests for flower lovers around the world, who make this website a success. We will have various contests that are appropriate for different celebrations and seasons. We are hoping for a very enthusiastic response from our visitors to whom we are grateful for making our website a success. Your continued visits inspire us to add more features and more information about plants and flowers on The Flower Expert.

We will organize online essay, poetry, and short story contests for everyone who is interested. There will be no entry fee. Our hope is that this will be a chance for you to articulate your love for plants and flowers, in addition to participating in a creative writing exercise. We also hope that this is going to be a mentally and emotionally fulfilling experience for you.

Father's Day Essay Contest

Father's day is just around the corner. And it is time we said “thanks” to our dads, for all they have done for us. The third Sunday of this June the world over is going to celebrate the dignity and honor of fatherhood. There will be fun activities in school and there will be reunions in millions of home. Let’s join in and contribute our two pence.

In the celebratory spirit of “Father’s Day,” The Flower Expert has arranged for an essay competition on the topic “The most memorable day with my dad.” No matter who you are, or what age you are, there must be something you would want to pen down as you think about your dad. We invite you to let us share your reminiscences.

• The minimum length of the entries is 300 words and the maximum length is 500 words. Please make sure that you meet these word restrictions.

• Although we respect all languages and cultures, due to practical limitations, your entries have to be in English.
• Individuals closely associated with the running of “The Flower Expert”, their friends and relatives are prohibited from participating in this competition.
• By sending us your essay, you are authorizing us to publish it on our website. All the shortlisted essays will be published under your name.
