Kate Poore is a trained garden designer at famous Garden Designing School(Garden Design School, GDS is one of the UKs foremost providers of specialist training courses in garden design). She was trained by Moira Farnham and Robin Templar Williams, who are highly accomplished and respected garden designers.

Before pursuing her career as a garden designer, Kate had 17 years experience as a broadcast TV designer, 10 of which were at the BBC in London. As a result she brings a wealth of design experience, creativity and professionalism into her garden designs.

Kate qualified at the Garden Design School (GDS) and has been awarded The Society of Garden Designers Student of the Year 2006.( The judges were Juliet Sargeant, Andy Sturgeon and Catherine Heatherington, all registered members of the society).
Kate Poore is the Joint winner of The Society of Garden Designers Student of The Year Competition 2006.
Kate Poore is the joint winner winning her award with Garden Design School (GDS) graduate, Lynne Pemberton, has scooped a top prize in the 2007 Student of the Year Awards, a nationwide competition organised by the Society of Garden Designers (SGD).
