Los Angeles Flower District Association
The Los Angeles Flower District is the Los Angeles area´s premiere resource for flower growers, shippers, suppliers, floral wholesalers, distributors, floral designers and retail florists in the floriculture and horticulture industries.
Founded in 1924 by flower growers and sellers with small parcels of land in the Los Angeles area, over a period of time grew to become the largest flower district in America.
The LAFD is basically a market place that connects flower growers, flower sellers flower retailers and shippers. The market trades six days a week with separate timings for a wholesale trade for members and the general public.
The LAFD Association conducts a membership Badge Program for florists, flower related business holders and vendors in the state of California, with members having certain special privileges.

The LAFD Association is closely assocaited with the Bloomin´ News magazine which has been in publication for more than 50 years and reaches out to most of the association members. The magazine publishes articles on a wide variety of topics of interest to retail florists, wholesalers, growers and suppliers to the floriculture industry
