The Redding Garden Club's annual Fall Holiday Luncheon and Boutique will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, at the Redding Country Club, 109 Lonetown Road, beginning at 10:15 a.m.
The featured guest speaker is Melinda Wolcott of Wilton, who will demonstrate Holiday Designs. Ms. Wolcott is a flower show judge and has staged the Hartford Flower Show for the past three years for the Federated Garden Clubs of CT. In addition, she has been the State Flower Show school chairman for five years and is a past president of the Wilton Garden Club.
Ms. Wolcott also teaches horticulture and floral design classes to all age groups. She has been awarded the President?s Cup for a member with the most Blue Ribbons awarded in a flower show. Ms. Wolcott works at the Wilton Garden Club's Greenhouse in preparation for its May Plant Sale and has given talks and led tours to English gardens. In September, she was co-chair of the Wilton Garden Club's Kitchen Tour & Flower Show.
