Flowers and vegetables
GOUROCK Horticultural Society stage their Autumn Flower Show this weekend. It takes place on Saturday and Sunday in the Gamble Halls, Shore Street, from 2pm until 5pm on both days.
Floral display
The third Dickleburgh Church Flower and Art Festival takes place this weekend from 10am to 5.30pm on Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sunday at All Saints Church.
Summer flowers
Soak in the last blooms of summer as autumn nears with the "Abso-BLOOMIN-lutely" photography and art exhibit at the Palm Beach International Airport. The Palm Beach County's Art in Public Places program will host an artist reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Sept. 10 in the airport's Concession Mall, Level 2 of the Main Terminal., across from the Traveler's Lounge.
Floral display
CASTLE Camps United Reformed Church is hosting a flower festival and art exhibition this weekend. There will be stalls and refreshments at the event, which runs from 11am to 4pm on Saturday, 2.30pm to 4.30pm on Sunday, and 11am to 4pm on bank holiday Monday.
Flowers and Arrangements
The annual Westview Flower Show will take place at Westview Elementary School on Friday, Sept. 4. The event, which is sponsored by the Fairbury Garden Club, will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Westview Learning Center. Flowers and arrangements by the fourth graders will be on display.
Nature's Glory
The 58th annual Shrewsbury Flower Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 29 and 30 at the Shrewsbury fire hall on West Forrest Avenue. This year's theme is "Nature's Glory" and will feature 100 entries in floral design categories such as Tropical Rainforest, Majestic Mountains, Glorious Sunrise and The Good Earth.
Fruits and Flowers show
Entries for Weston village flower show must be in by September 2 at 5pm. The show, which takes place on Saturday September 5 at Weston All Saints Centre, will be opened by poet, singer and farmer John Osborne at 2.30pm. He will also present the 16 trophies awarded in the 90 classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, handicrafts, art and wine.
Flower arrangement
The flower show will be held on Saturday 29th August at Westmeston Parish hall opening at 2 pm. Show schedules are now available. We have all sorts of different classes for you and the children to enter in. These range from Vegetables, Flowers, Floral art for the ladies (or men) and an arrangement in a tankard for the men only. Classes for the children range from a Miniature garden, Flowers in an egg cup to a Painting of a garden bird.
Two Marvelous flower shows
THE aroma of fresh flowers will be in the air this weekend as two marvellous flower shows open their petals to patrons. The annual Campsie Flower Show will be held this Sunday, from 2-4pm, at Campsie Town Hall, Lennoxtown.
Floral and Horticultural display
The Garden Club of Niagara will host a flower show this weekend at historic McFarland House. The show, called A Sense of History, will include floral and horticultural displays both outside and inside the Niagara Parkway home.
Flower arrangements
Bisley's annual flower show and fete will take place on Saturday, August 29. This year's event will be officially opened at 2pm by long-time and well-loved resident Olive Burkitt.
Vegetable and Flower show
The Mansfield Men's Garden Club will again sponsor the Fall Harvest Show on Saturday and Sunday. The 55th annual show will be in the Kingwood Meeting Hall. It is the largest local vegetable and flower show of the year.
Largest sunflower head
THE 61st Binfield Heath flower show will include new events and attractions alongside its traditional gardening competitions. For the first time, the show will have the tallest mobile climbing wall in Britain, which can be used by people all ages.
1,500 stems of flowers
GREEN-FINGERED helpers from a Prestwich church are hoping to end this month on a high note with a fabulous floral festival. St Margaret's Church, in St Margaret's Road, is opening its doors to visitors as a team of gardeners put on a floral display called Inspired By Musicals.
Pennard Plants
Pennard Plants will create the central show feature of apples and pears at the RHS Autumn Harvest Show at the Royal Horticultural Halls in Westminster, London on 13-14 October. Owner Chris Smith said Pennard Plants will build an allotment garden at the RHS show.
Flower arrangement
A COLOURFUL festival to celebrate half a century of a national flower arrangement society will be held in Aberdeen next month. Flower clubs from across the north-east will host the event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies.

THE Droitwich Spa and District Horticultural Society is set to hold its 61st show. There will be classes for flowers, fruit, vegetables, handicrafts, photographs, cakes and preserves, childrens exhibits and floral art at the event from 1pm on August 31. Closing date for entries is Thursday, August 27.
Tallest sunflower
Lodsworth and District Garden Club has a big event coming up at the village hall on Saturday - its 50th anniversary flower show. Chairman Penny Olsen said in addition to the usual entries there will be a colourful display of scarecrows outside the hall plus a competition for the tallest sunflower, to be judged tomorrow (Friday, August 21) in the gardens where they are growing.

Starting on Saturday, August 29 at 10am, the festival will run until 4pm on Tuesday, September 1. This year's theme is 'A Child Shall Lead Them', based on Bible stories from childhood and popular children's songs.Activities will include church services, counting butterflies, ringing the Tower Bells, and much more.
Beautiful arrangements of flowers
Ashover Flower Festival - run by Ashover Parish Church - will host works by Ashover Art Group at this year's event, which is running from August 28 to 31. The art group will display paintings in the Bassett Rooms' upstairs gallery, with a percentage of all sales and donations going to the church's Save Our Spire appeal.
Dalat flowers
The third Da Lat Flower Festival has been rescheduled from the original date, December 19 - 23, 2009, and will now be held between January 1 and 4, 2010, it was recently announced. The show also honors the value of Dalat flowers and Dalat flower growers, as well as boosting the local flower industry.
25th Annual show
GARDENERS from are being invited to enter an annual flower show at Bridgemere Garden World in Nantwich. The centre's 25th show will take place on Sunday August 30 and Monday August 31, with 72 different classes for people to enter.
Ruby anniversary
PILNING is preparing to look its blooming best as the village flower show celebrates its 40th anniversary. Organisers of the Pilning Flower Show, which has been a popular feature in the local horticultural calendar for four decades, are pulling out all the stops to make the ruby anniversary a year to remember.

THE chairman of Lympstone Garden Club is hoping for a record number of entrants at the village's flower and vegetable show. Shirley Wilkes said despite terrible weather at last year's event, there were more entrants than ever before but wanted to exceed that level this time around.
Annual flower show
Usher in the spirit of the season with the annual Christmas flower show at Allan Gardens conservatory. From December 7 to 30, the greenhouse conservatory will showcase many of the newest varieties of poinsettias, all lending a victorian flavour for the holiday season. The conservatory will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visit Allan Gardens conservatory by candlelight December 15 to 23 and December 26 to 30 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Flower enthusiasts are urged to select their prettiest potted and blooming plants along with horticulture specimens for exhibit at the flower show held in conjunction with the Central Mississippi Fair.
