Tallest sunflower

Lodsworth and District Garden Club has a big event coming up at the village hall on Saturday - its 50th anniversary flower show. Chairman Penny Olsen said in addition to the usual entries there will be a colourful display of scarecrows outside the hall plus a competition for the tallest sunflower, to be judged tomorrow (Friday, August 21) in the gardens where they are growing.
