Ground Ivy
- Ground Ivy
- Glechoma hederacea
A very common little wild flower plant in the ground flora of woods and under hedges, also grows along verges and track-sides. It is a member of the labiate or mint family and has small, blue, two-lipped flowers. The neat, lobed leaves are thought to resemble ivy but to my eyes the likeness is not close.
