- Great Switchwort
- Stellaria holostea
Great Stitchwort is very common in woods, hedge bottoms, roadsides and so on, usually appearing either with or just before the bluebells, and sometimes covering quite an area. The white flowers are showy, significantly larger than those of other stitchworts. This wild flower plant is rather weak-looking with thin, almost grass-like leaves.
